Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by SettleWell ("we," "us," or "our") at settlewellinjury.com and related domains (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Nature of Our Services
SettleWell is an injury coordination and intake platform. SettleWell is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We do not practice law, provide medical advice, or establish attorney-client relationships. Our role is to help accident victims connect with independent, vetted attorneys and medical providers who can evaluate their situations.
Any attorney or medical provider you are connected with through SettleWell is an independent practitioner. SettleWell does not control, supervise, or guarantee the services provided by any attorney or medical provider in our network. The decision to retain an attorney or pursue medical treatment is yours alone.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Your use of this Site, submission of a case review form, interaction with our chatbot, or communication via phone or text does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and SettleWell. An attorney-client relationship is only formed when you sign a retainer agreement directly with an attorney.
3. No Guarantee of Results
SettleWell does not guarantee any specific outcome for your case. Past results achieved by attorneys in our network do not guarantee future outcomes. Every case is different, and results depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each situation. Any statistics, settlement amounts, or success rates referenced on the Site reflect the collective experience of attorneys in our network and are not guarantees of individual results.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
5. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting forms, interacting with our chatbot, or communicating with us by phone or text. You understand that inaccurate information may affect our ability to connect you with appropriate professionals.
6. Communications Consent
By submitting a form on the Site, you consent to receive communications from SettleWell and its partners, including phone calls, text messages, and emails, at the contact information you provide. This may include calls and texts made using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of receiving our services. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by contacting us at [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of SettleWell or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written consent.
8. AI-Powered Tools
Our Site uses AI-powered tools, including a chatbot and voice assistant, to help gather information about your situation. These tools are designed to assist with intake and are not a substitute for professional legal or medical advice. The responses generated by our AI tools are informational only and should not be relied upon as legal counsel.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SettleWell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SettleWell, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
